Unsupported in Deputy Embedded Edition

The following document outlines functionality that is removed from, or otherwise unsupported within, Deputy Embed Edition at the current time. If any of these are something that your application would benefit from and you are interested in taking on Deputy Embed please contact [email protected]

General

  • Help and support popup (Partners have their own support workflow)
  • Trial top bar (detailing how long is left in trial)
  • Main navigation (partner will control the navigation)
  • Guided onboarding (prompts to create locations etc)

Dashboard tab

  • User side bar (clock in clock out) (Removed as the embed iFrame is built for system admin persona)
  • Calendar section (Removed as the embed iFrame is built for system admin persona)

Locations

  • Add locations button (Partners responsibility to add locations via API)
  • Teams side bar (Removed as the embed iFrame is built for system admin persona)
  • Locations settings (Partners responsibility to add locations via API)
  • Archive button (Partners responsibility to add locations via API)

  • Mobile kiosk is not supported
  • Onboarding functionality is not supported.

Questions

Do Embed Users have access to normal Deputy Web? (once.deputy.co)

No, Embed users do not have access to once.deputy.com - unless they we're previously employed by a non-embed Deputy account, and already have a user profile.

Do Embed Users have a regular login (username and password)

Embed users do not have a Deputy login.

Embed works in silent SSO concept, and we do a background SSO via the Partner Credentials before Deputy Embed loads.

User login is managed by Bambee. Employees log in to the mobile app using their partner credentials.

Is Deputy Embed only Premium (no enterprise features?)

Correct, Embed is a premium only, and hence no Enterprise features or custom implementation is available
